William Dallas III answered the call to pastor in 1988 and started the Gospel Fellowship Church by conducting Sunday morning and midweek services at a conference room in the Riverfront Inn Hotel.
Over the next several years, the church services moved to various locations, including a building at 604 McClay Street.
In October 1996, the ministry was blessed to purchase a church on the corner of 119 Nagle Street in the Shipoke section of Harrisburg. In 2002, the ministry purchased a much larger facility on Seventh Street which has been completely renovated. We are excited about the possibilities we now have for community outreach in our much larger facility.
The Gospel Fellowship Church is affiliated with the Ruwach United Fellowship of Churches. After six years of serving as the Co-Chairman for the Ruwach United Fellowship, the organization ordained Pastor William Dallas to the office of Bishop in August of 1999.
